Solo episode this week. I share a story from my 40th birthday—I woke up that day in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico, a day like any other. Little did I know, Lady O had plans for me that would ensure my life would never be the same again.

I did a poll in my Instagram Stories last week where I asked listeners what they would like me to talk about in this episode.

Of four (4) options, the results were a tie between:

  • A deeper dive into 40 Pieces of Life Advice for 20-Year Old Me
  • Personal finance & Investing

Since there was a tie, I decided to dive back into those pieces of Life Advice related to personal finance & investing. Like Wednesday, November 4, 2020, half of voters will be happy.

I also tell the story of Lululemon, whether Amazon stock ($AMZN) is a BUY and make promises to listeners based on my relationship to money & travels around the world.

Other topics discussed:
  • Surprise parties
  • Feeling like you’re floating
  • Obsessed with maps
  • Birthday cake
  • Investing vs. Trading
  • Finding the needle vs. buying haystack
  • When to buy individual stocks

Mardi Gras, Mexican Cartels, Nazi Olympics

I start this episode with ‘funnies’ from the past week, then get into the Winter Olympics in Milan. How thrilling would it be to have a luge track nearby that you could use? Problem is there are only four of them in America. In this episode, I break down the differences between luge, skeleton, and

Why the Long Face?

In this episode, I share my ‘physiognomical theory of everything,’ and what could unaffectionately be referred to as “communist face.” Here I discuss facial structures, perceived softness, and why certain public figures project a collectivist energy based solely on appearance. This eventually turns into a broader conversation about leadership, optics, and testosterone (or lack thereof).
