I start this episode diving into The False Prophet documentary, a four-part Netflix series that exposes a self-proclaimed prophet. The show highlights how he was able to manipulate idiots who surrendered their wives and daughters to this creep. It’s hard to believe. But worth a watch if you’re into true crime and/or cult stories.
Then I get into the Eric Swalwell saga & the Hungary election. Swalwell’s political collapse shows how quickly the pro-democracy party can coup you when one-party rule is threatened. The ruthlessness of communist politics and their propaganda arm in the media is unlike anything we’ve seen in the US, at least in my lifetime. Meanwhile, Hungary has voted out Viktor Orbán after 16 years, I talk about Budapest and how this election might impact the nation’s culture, borders, and relationships with the EU and beyond.
Also, as usual, I share funny social media posts. And Trump’s beef with Pope Leo, the OpenAI lawsuit, communism, and much more.
