Tupac once said twelve shots couldn’t stop him, he took it and smiled. The problem for Pac was he didn’t know what was coming next.

I know the feeling. Things can go from bad to worse real fast.

The past year’s been a nightmare for your newly-humbled host with an old podcast.

I feel like I went up a muddy mountain trail with unsuspecting Cu Chi Tunnel spikes and the occasional alligator moat. Not to mention there was a dragon to slay at the top that I might be battling the rest of my life.

So I thought it was time to revive the podcast. I come to you from Berchtesgaden, Germany (pictured), home of Eagle’s Nest. Recorded this quick episode to ease back into podcasting and let you know what the Overseas crew’s been up to.

I also give thanks to friends and family who’ve supported me through the worst of it—full story to come soon.

Listen to recent travel stories, thoughts on Christ, and books that go hard like a healthy male with a Zyn habit.

Here’s what’s discussed:

  • Questions about income & assets on a prior trip to London
  • Horrible Heathrow Airport layover experience with British TSA
  • US Democrat Party
  • Women in power & men afraid to confront them
  • US Election Preview: Masculine men & feminine women vs feminine men & masculine women
  • Opinion against a border between the U.S. & Mexico
  • Murder of 12-year old girl by two Venezuelan “migrants” in North Houston
  • Black folks in Chicago considering crossing the Mexico border
  • Berchtesgaden, Germany: Home of Hitler’s Eagle’s Nest

  • How sense of smell helps you remember things
  • Plans to write a book
  • Near-death experience and its impact on valuing life & relationships
  • Miriam & daughter inspiring me to fight
  • Appreciation for friends & mentees who’ve supported me
  • Jordan Peterson’s views on God and historic need for religion

Mardi Gras, Mexican Cartels, Nazi Olympics

I start this episode with ‘funnies’ from the past week, then get into the Winter Olympics in Milan. How thrilling would it be to have a luge track nearby that you could use? Problem is there are only four of them in America. In this episode, I break down the differences between luge, skeleton, and

Why the Long Face?

In this episode, I share my ‘physiognomical theory of everything,’ and what could unaffectionately be referred to as “communist face.” Here I discuss facial structures, perceived softness, and why certain public figures project a collectivist energy based solely on appearance. This eventually turns into a broader conversation about leadership, optics, and testosterone (or lack thereof).

About

Hi there! I’m the Man Overseas, a thirty-something-year-old from Houston, TX, who in 2015, took a year-long sabbatical from a lucrative sales job in the States to travel the world on passive real estate income.
